The ”Check Benefits & Coverage“ section offers you access to your eligibility, claims, benefits, authorizations and other important information about your coverage. Here are some frequently asked questions and ways this section can help you:
How do I access my eligibility and benefits information?
Go to “Your Benefits” to learn more about the benefits available to you and general information about your coverage. You can confirm your outpatient and inpatient benefits and verify information such as your mailing address. Need to submit a claim? This section provides the claims mailing address for your group.
How can I find out my authorization status?
Most contracts require an authorization before benefits are paid. In “Your Authorizations” you can see all of your authorizations and any claims paid under the authorization.
How do I know if a claim has been paid?
Simply select ”Your Claims” to access your claim information. You will see how much the provider or facility charged, ValueOptions’ payment and any patient responsibility.
