Note:

This sample timeline assumes that the workforce has received an orientation to the EAP and its services. (If not, please contact your ValueOptions account executive to schedule trainings for the general employee population as well as supervisors.)

Communication tools have been plotted across a one-year time period to help support your employees in working their way through stages—from recognizing the signs and seeking help to persevering. The campaign kicks off with awareness of domestic violence—the definition, causes, signs and symptoms—prompting employees and employers to seek help and create a safety plan. The campaign continues to help employees commit to change by managing anger and conflict and persevering throughout the year. Monthly themes tie in with national observances or seasonal issues as appropriate for relevancy and additional momentum. Use this as a starting point to design a communication implementation plan for your workforce.
