This manual is a guide to ValueOptions’ policies and procedures for individual practitioners, and specialty network providers in the NorthSTAR program. It provides important information regarding the managed care features incorporated in the ValueOptions participating provider contract. The manual here reflects the policies that are applicable to our “NorthSTAR” program.

While the NorthSTAR providers have adopted the program details described in this manual, some ValueOptions providers have established procedures and requirements that are unique to their benefit plans.
