The Dallas Region of the National Association of Black School Educators held its annual educational conference on Using Brain Research to Leave No African American Child Behind on March 5, 2005, at Mountain View College in Dallas.

ValueOptions NorthSTAR program was a sponsor of the event, which presented the latest in brain research on learning styles, teaching techniques, and nutrition and physical conditioning as it relates to brain function. The conference was attended by approximately one hundred area educators.
