In his role as CEO, Jack Szczepanowski directs all day-to-day functions for ValueOptions’ NorthSTAR contract. Szczepanowski has played a critical role in Texas for several years now, managing our daily operations here in the NorthSTAR region and working on many very important initiatives. In 2003, he started with ValueOptions as Operations & Compliance Director before assuming the role of Vice President of Operations, and eventually CEO in 2006.

Within the NorthSTAR community, Szczepanowski has worked hard to build consensus in the region; and he has helped introduce a more recovery-oriented approach to this program. He has rolled out innovative new services, such as the 340-B Pharmacy Program. And, he has helped to build a sturdy, yet flexible public health system that can withstand the strongest of challenges – even the devastating after-effects of Hurricane Katrina.

Prior to his work with ValueOptions, Szczepanowski served as the Operations/Legal Affairs Director and Compliance Officer for Dallas Metrocare Services (Formerly Dallas County Mental Health and Mental Retardation). He is very active in the region’s healthcare business community, and he has served as the Chair of the Dallas Mental Retardation Human Rights Committee.
