Effective July 1, 2007, ValueOptions began managing the Kansas Substance Abuse Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (SA-PIHP), which covers substance abuse treatment services for over 250,000 individuals and families across the state.  Under the direction of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS), ValueOptions administers inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for members eligible for Medicaid (T-XIX) and members eligible for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant-funded substance abuse services.
