ValueOptions® Opens 22nd Clinic in Phoenix Metro Area

ValueOptions Meets Growing Demand for Behavioral Health Services with New Facility, Community Partnership
Phoenix, Arizona — March 1, 2006

To accommodate the growing number of people who need behavioral services, ValueOptions recently opened a new behavioral health services clinic at 12th Street and Highland Avenue in central Phoenix.

"Our goal is to deliver exceptional care to those we serve. By adding this new clinic in the core of the city, we're adding much needed resources.  This means we can provide even more personalized care," said Vivianne Chaumont, CEO of ValueOptions.

Featuring three full-service clinical teams, the Highland center provides services for people with general mental health (GMH) issues as well as those with serious mental illness (SMI). The center also has a substance abuse counselor on staff at the site to help those recovering from addiction.

Additionally, ValueOptions is strengthening its partnership with the Recovery Empowerment Network by providing a place for peer learning for those dealing with mental health issues. Not only can individuals gain essentials skills for greater independence, the center also provides computer training to assist consumers in recovery with job searches, housing and benefits.

"Partnering with ValueOptions allows those who need behavioral services to find encouragement from someone else who has gone through a similar experience and done well. We have a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate that a higher quality of life is possible," said Ann Rider, Executive Director of Recovery Empowerment Network.
