EASNA Elects ValueOptions' Rich Paul as President

Norfolk, Virginia — May 31, 2005

ValueOptions today announced that Rich Paul, vice president of Health and Performance Solutions, has been elected as president of the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA). Mr. Paul will become president of EASNA at the conclusion of the current term, and his presidency will run through 2007.

Founded to address the ever-evolving needs of the employee assistance field, EASNA's goal is to provide a leadership role that encourages quality Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services through the development of program standards and an EAP accreditation process.

"As a leader in the EAP field, Rich brings a wealth of experience and leadership that will support our efforts to achieve EASNA's new strategic direction and positively impact our initiatives," said Dr. Louise Hartley, current president of EASNA.

In his current role at ValueOptions, Mr. Paul oversees operations and is responsible for the implementation of company-wide EAP best practice initiatives as well as workplace service quality programs and standards.
