ValueOptions provides Family Support Services (Employee Assistance Program) including non-medical counseling for approximately 6,000,000 active duty, Guard and Reserve Component service members and their immediate families. Services include 24 hour consultation, information and referrals via telephone, Internet and email, on a wide range of issues that directly affect military members and their families.

U.S. Coast Guard CG SUPRT (Solutions, Understanding, Prevention, Resilience, Trust) Program
ValueOptions delivers expanded Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to approximately 127,000 U.S. Coast Guard active duty and select reserve service members, civilian employees and their families. Members are eligible to receive counseling, education and referral services for a wide variety of life challenges impacting Coast Guard members and their families.

General Services Administration Schedule
ValueOptions’ EAP services help participants cope with the challenges and difficulties of daily life. By focusing on prevention, assessment, problem solving and solution-focused counseling, the EAP is able to resolve most issues and address a myriad of everyday life concerns while creating a culture of health among the employers we serve. All of our EAP models include the following services:
- Access to Care Managers 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week through a toll-free telephone number and the Internet.
- Account Manager who serves as the primary point of contact and consultative resource
- ValueOptions’ online EAP resource, Achieve Solutions, that includes behavioral health, work/life and wellness information, assessment tools and various self-help programs.
- Clinical Focus enabling participants to may speak with a licensed, master’s-level EAP Care Manager, 24-hours a day, and seven (7) days a week.
- Communications program that informs participants about the variety of EAP services available and how to access theme services and encourages them to seek assistance when the need arises.
- Management Consultation Services to help leadership recognize the EAP as the first point of contact in relation to human issues in the workplace.
- Comprehensive EAP utilization reports provided annually
- Quarterly Client Summits, which are one-hour teleconferences on topics of special interest, enabling clients to interact with national experts and their peers on current workplace challenges and trends.

Returning Warrior and Family Assistance Program Solutions
Multiple and extended deployments are serious challenges to service members and their families. These challenges often lead to psychological and emotional issues such as combat stress reaction, depression, and anxiety, all of which require assistance. The Returning Warrior and Family Assistance Program, a ValueOptions outreach and technology-based approach, can help returning National Guard and Reservists, their family members and employers with problems or issues that may adversely impact their health, well-being and work performance. We can provide innovative outreach, ongoing engagement and monitoring of resiliency status, online coaching, self-assessment tools, and telephonic support to help returning warriors and families access appropriate and timely information, counseling and therapy.
