The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations and is a nationally recognized evaluation used by purchasers, regulators and consumers to assess managed behavioral health organizations.

URAC, formerly known as the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, is a nonprofit organization that establishes quality standards for the industry.
