Connecting consumers to care every step of the way.
As the regional behavioral health authority (RBHA) for Maricopa County, ValueOptions helps consumers enroll for the services they need and connects them with the behavioral healthcare provider who is best for them. But we don't stop there.
Through 21 clinics owned and operated by ValueOptions throughout Maricopa County and more than 400 case managers and 70 clinical teams, we provide a range of direct services that help consumers change their lives. From case management for those with serious mental illness, to treatment for pregnant women with drug and alcohol additions-we help thousands of people in Maricopa County work toward their recovery goals, every step of the way.
The Team. Each consumer has a team of professionals working together to ensure that they get the best care possible. This team includes a case manager, registered nurse and assigned clinician (MD, DO, NP, or PA). Depending on the consumer's individual needs, other specialists are often brought in such as counselors and clinical care planners, as well as professionals specializing in rehabilitation, substance abuse and housing. In addition to this traditional case management team, ValueOptions also has developed teams that specialize in areas such as intensive case management and substance abuse.
The Goal. Through psychiatric care and case management, the main goal of each of these teams is to help consumers work toward recovery
toward a higher quality of life. This includes assessing needs, setting individual recovery goals for each consumer, and setting up needed support systems. Sometimes that means helping consumers find housing so they have a safe, clean place to live while recovering. Sometimes it's helping them get a job or become involved in other activities that bring meaning to their lives. It's this commitment to "doing what it takes", that brings consumers one step closer to their goals
one step closer to recovery.
