—ValueOptions, Inc., the nation’s largest independent behavioral health care company, has named Paul M. Rosenberg to the position of General Counsel.

Rosenberg most recently held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Shands HealthCare in Gainesville, Fla. He was responsible for legal affairs, government relations, compliance, privacy, and insurance.
Prior to that, Rosenberg was Chief Operating Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor for Duke University Health System in Durham, N.C. While in that position, Rosenberg was responsible for business development and managed care contracting as well as for product development, primary care development and affiliations programs.
Rosenberg also has held executive positions with The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System in Baltimore, the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center, as well as with Bason Associates in Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Rosenberg will be based at ValueOptions headquarters in Norfolk, Va.
Rosenberg holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, R.I., and received a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati. |
